I was in a K Mart very close to closing time and in a hurry, but was jaunting down a toy aisle and saw these in the "junk toy" section. They were $1.99 and blind-bagged like trading cards...called Battle Buggz (I think). Anyone hear of these yet? Anyone have any? Sadly, they seem to have been gaming toys...you only got one in a pack and the price didn't seem worth it to me. Just wondering if anyone else has different feelings.

I guess they were just little pull back toys. Had wheels on the bottom. You pull em pack and they slam into each other. Pretty lame I think.

Yep. My runt liked those Nara bugs, that vibrate like those Nano bugs... So she picked up one of those, and was bummed out by the crooked driving, shitty grasshopper she got. Haha, I gave her her money back.

Heh...duh!

I have little patience for fancy video openings to websites, but peeked a bit. The bugs remind me of the old Operation Bug toys and other stuff made by Empire from the late 90s. I just feel that they're too expensive. I prefer "monster bugs" to the more realistic Nara ones. I have a weakness for buggy stuff...especially ones with monster-like aesthetics, like Power Buggz, but too expensive!

Anyone have these?

My story is similar to the OP.  Sometime in 2012, I found these in a K-Mart while traveling in rural Texas.  I thought K-Mart had gone bankrupt, so I had to stop.  I grew up with K-mart and hadn't been to one in decades.  Anyway, I ended up getting these blind-bagged things called Power Buggz.  I am certain they were $1 each, probably on clearance. I ended up with the whole set minus one.  I used to check ebay frequently and have never seen one listed ever.  Funny thing is, they are distributed by MEG.  Surely someone here has a few.
