I still have a couple I got as a kid. I remember seeing them at stores like K-Mart, Venture and Zayre (who remembers Venture and Zayre?) in the late '80s. I got the donut, pankcakes and chicken leg, I think. Very cool toy line.

a few weeks ago I was driving through East St Louis and pulled a U-turn to take this picture, it's the first sign I'd seen in like a decade. Confused the hell out of my girlfriend haha.

The building is still there but hasn't been re-purposed, so it's vacant but still painted like an old Venture.

 

On topic though, I didn't ever have any Food Fighters but my friends did. For whatever reason I always associate them in my head with Barnyard Commandos, of which I had quite a few.

dont forget the lunchbox also gang, and there's two different puzzles. i sold my entire collection of them, but they always were, and always will be one of my fav toy lines.

Yeah I am loving these toys myself. They are extremely detailed and fun. I want the whole set...

I have a Terror Taco from my childhood. I've always wanted the pizza guy

I had a bunch of those! I had...let me think...

 

The chocolate donut, the taco, the pizza, the burger, the hotdog and the honey pancakes... I MIGHT have had the cookie too... I don't think I had any of the vehicles, certainly not the egg carton tank.

 

I kinda wish someone would try to make new ones!

two that I know of, 1shot toys did Sgt. Angus, and Nilla has the Pizza Zombie
