Hi there friends, I have one Ultraman that I am not sure about his origins, there are some interesting things on it:

One of the interesting things on this figure is that it has no origin country, making year or other brand marks, it has a small ¨C¨on any part.
It is made by a solid plastic, is not hollow as many if not all the Ultraman figures I have seen.
It has legs and arms jointed, the main figures I have similar to this one have no jointed legs, only arms and are divided on waist.
As comparison I am posting also an Ultraman by Popy to help to identify these variants.

If someone knows something about this figure, its origin or any clue it would be much appreciated.

Hi Ericnilla!, the figure in question is the one on the right, is like that one like you are seeing on YAJ? There are a way that you can obtain more info about him? The left figure is quite common, of those I have seen thousands...

Looks like a bootleg Ultraman Astra figure (not really sure though), and the little keshi dude is Kanegon from Ultra-Q. As far as the companies go.... no idea.

Yeah, that's Astra from Ultraman Leo. I'm not really up on my pre-Bandai vinyl info, sadly, so I'm not exactly sure what the deal with this figure is. If that's a bootleg, it's very nicely done for the time since it captures all the details accurately. Even the brace on his leg from his time in captivity is there!

Since we have no markings to go by, how tall is Astra? The usual six inches tall?

Eric, buy a new keyboard. They're not even ten bucks these days.

my lapt0p is 6 years 0ld and a new keyb0ard is still $70+ 0n ebay. I just need a new c0mputer, but right n0w i cant aff0rd 0ne. :/

Als0 i l00ked ar0und 0n YAJ and saw n0thing like this guy. :unknw:

Last time I hassled you about your o key, I didn't notice you mention it was a laptop. Your dilemma makes a tad more sense now, but if you ever want to post an o, and I mean somewhere besides a forum like this where it doesn't matter, do you REALLY want to copy-and-paste it every single time? At least if you had a USB keyboard, you'd have the option.

Hi, oh yes, I have been told that the chances to be a bootleg figure are big, the which amazes me is that this figure has much better manufacture quality than the original ones, as you said, details are part of the well this figure is done, the fact that the legs are jointed and not on the waist as the regular and original ones is another extra point on it. I was thinking seriously that this probably has been a prototype figure, but if it's only a bootleg then is the best copy figure I have seen in my life. Oh by the way yes is the six inches tall version.

Ericnilla: I thought you were talking in a customed style, sorry to hear about your laptop issue!
