Hi folks, first post here and perhaps a little premature.

I have a bag in storage full of figures that I collected around 1985-ish (I was a child based in the USA at the time)

In fact, I had a classmate from Japan who would return with some figures that simply did not exist in the USA packaged collections.

I don't have pictures yet, I need to get them out of storage, but from memory I certainly have a Drunken Master (flesh), and a Transparent Turquoise Dr. Bombe (maybe this is an Exogini?) Were the Transparent figures bootlegs Exogini / Kinkeshi only?

On top of that, I also have some soft "eraser" figures as well. Almost certainly I have this one as an Eraser model (#001 Muscle Man)

Is this a Kinkeshi?

I'll be sure to post some pictures once I have them in hand. Ideally I would like to sell or auction them off.

If anyone had an idea of what the Drunken Master value would be these days, or even if anyone has ever see a Transparent Dr. Bombe before?

Without seeing pictures it sounds like you have some Japanese figures in your collection, likely from your friend from Japan.

The soft eraser style figures are definitely Kinkeshi, the precursor to M.U.S.C.L.E. Chances are that any figures you have that are not found on the M.U.S.C.L.E. poster are of this variety.

There were legitimate Kinkeshi made in alternate materials and colors that were released in Japan at various times as chase figures. Some of these were translucent:

And there is always the possibility of domestic and international bootlegs when it comes to Kinnikuman.

The bottom row of figures in the above picture are all bootlegs from various sources.

I'd be interested in the Drunken Master if it was of the M.U.S.C.L.E. variety but it sounds like it's probably Kinkeshi based on your write up. The translucent Dr. Bombe is a variant that he came in... the other Part 21 guys came in the same Crystal color.

Thanks everyone, sorry for the delay, i've only just got them out of storage. Here is the Dr I mentioned. I have to dig through my collection still, but I do have a good dozen Eraser type Kinkeshi, in particular Lightbulb guy who is a very nice specimen indeed.
