Good luck. The FOA market has experienced a slightly more cartoonish "Rule of 2" explosion as of late.
Even trading for them has been a real pain in the ass. Good luck! If you get anywhere, let me know!

No trying to be funny, but I think every FOA collector is looking for the same figures. There used to be a guy that sold Jangutz Khan on eBay. I mean he had hundreds of them, and he would post a new one each week.

Yeah. There has been a lot of discussion in the MUSCLE community about the "Rule of Two", but the FOA community (being much smaller) experienced it sooner, and the effects were a lot more cartoonish, for common figures.
You'll typically find yourself paying $100's of dollars to get the figures you named in auctions, hidden in large lots. Ironically, it is probably cheaper to get the Italian Exogini variations, though you specified you wanted the US versions... You probably already knew that.

Wrath1104 is correct. Part of the problem is, we spend a lot of time bidding against each other, instead of working together, and the prices of FOA have exploded.

Ye, it would be cheaper to go for the exogini versions, but I would like just to have the US versions, since they are the ones I had as a kid. I have bought all my FOA here in Denmark, but I have hit a blind spot, cause can't seem too get any FOA I need in the few lots I find. And if they ever turn up on eBay, they are gonna cost more then I am willing to spend. Maybe you just have to waiiit and see, what happens, and then maybe some will turn up :D

I'll have to go through my boxes, for both of you guys. I know I have tons of extras, exogini and US. I'm pretty sure I have extra pods, weapons, and special figures too.

Yeah! That would be awesome! I am not trying to complete the entire set, but I have a large handful left to try to get.

No problem ... I'll try to get through it this weekend. I'll also try to post my excel FOA collection spreadsheet. I don't know why, but I like making collection spreadsheets.

I can't imagine that I have anything FOA related that you probably don't have, but I am sure we can work something out.
It's pretty exciting.

Especially when some dick-hole online thinks they are worth $4 apiece, for single common figures...

That guy has had those listed on there for a long time now.
And you know every time someone digs some out of their basement they base their prices on his idiocy, because thats all they really have to go by is whats already listed on there.

I have a spare dredrock pod I'm willing to part with through either trade or sale. Traded my entire set of FOA to Rubberhammer, so now I've just got this spacepod floating around my house.

PM me if anybody wants it!

I remember I found that listing on iOffer ye-ears ago. I gave the guy $10 and I got a crap ton. Since then I gave some to my son, cuz he digged them, at the time. Then I saw an offer on Kajiji, a guy was getting rid of a sciroid battleship, the sciroids, all the weapons, all the crystallites, almost all the RAMMs and Mutants. I didn't reach it in time, but it sold for , I believe, $15.00. I coulda crapped myself, because you can't get a better mother load from this series.

It means that if a collecting community for a given "toy" is small enough that when 2 people with enough interest can change the "value" of said "toy" by their bidding against each other.

In larger collecting communities there are usually larger amount of items available at anytime. In a smaller community with less items available, it just takes a couple aggressive collectors to raise the prices.
