Hey,

Searching for some MIMP info (at this pint just on the first two series)

Sorry if this info is already common knowledge. Finally starting to take MIMP collecting more seriously.

So Series 1 came in 4 basic colors + 4 'neon' colors, Right? I also read that there are other variant colors. is there a list of these anywhere?

(For example I have a magenta Harpy, less bright than the series 2 pink color)

I know some of the variant colors are foreign, are these the same size as the US run?

Series 2 is just 4 colors, plus some glow figures?

Does the foot lettering have any effect on anything aside from maybe die hard collectors? I have some a-e on the foot.

Thanks,

I'll prob have some more questions as I learn more.

For detailed answers check my site: http://mimpcollectiv...-my-pocket.html

It has a list of all the known foreign releases except Columbia and Brazil (not much is known about those yet).

The remaining series 1 colors were all promos, I have an excel list on the site above though I plan to add a cheat sheet eventually for those without Office

The Foreign series have different sizes, generally smaller than Matchbox

Series 2 has some monocolor figures that only were released in the UK as premiums. They are relatively cheap.

Foot lettering refers to the factory and I don't know of anyone that collects based on that, not even a MIMP lunatic like myself.

Woah,

I wish every series of LRG had a website that thorough.

I have 70 or so now (not including doubles) with a huge lot coming in the mail. Excited to research what I have!

Thanks dude.

Even explains where my real tiny ones came from.

Thanks for the praise. I am working every weekend to add more stuff to it. I've loved MIMP since the beginning.

You mentioned a magenta Harpy. Does it look like this? If so, it would be neon purple, one of the four Series 1 neon colors. Harpy was never produced in a pink/magenta color -- only purple, olive green, and all four Series 1 neon colors.

In addition to Behemoth's great site, you can find a quick visual reference of which figures were produced in which colors here.

It's also worth noting that some series 1 neons and series 2 figures command a higher price than others, based on sculpt/colour combos. There are threads here that discuss the 'top 10 most uncommon' etc.
