The topic of prices and price trajectory interest me, and I know at least a few other people. General Veers and UofM has had many, many excellent discussions on this and related topics, including another good one today. Recently, I decided to start tracking eBay auctions for a few months and see what the lay of the land looks like and see if I could better understand where things are heading, and since General Veers post today was in a similar vein, I thought I would start sharing these numbers here for now, and hopefully continue to update this every month as I compile the data.
For now, what I did was track MUSCLE lot sales from eBay (avoiding single figure BIN and similar, and any mixed lots). Really I just want to know what the average single figure price is per month, how many figures are generally moving per month, and I also took notes on each lot for later use.
Finally, I am also tracking a few single sales that might help keep the pulse of the market.
