I'm thinking of selling(or maybe trading) this Raw Eggster (?), can anybody please give me a rough estimate of what it's worth?

A red Raw Eggster went on eBay just the other day for $50
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110954398648
It was a relist of an auction where the winning bidder wouldn't pay, that auction reached $51.
So I would say $50 is about its money.

Did that one guy stop throwing ridiculous amounts of money at every BEB auction?

No, he still does that, but he only throws the really stupid money at the ones he doesn't have. For the stuff he already has, he's content to merely jack the prices up for everyone else.

Prices seem to be going down a bit lately, one sold for £21 the other day which is the lowest I've seen a single figure go for in a long time. It wasnt a raw eggster though but still lower than usual, and a blue octoegg went for £25 i think, might be wrong there
