[keywolf]

After being a peripheral member here for a while I decided it might be time to post some of my favourite MIMPs from my collection. I've loved MIMP since I first saw them, and though I gave most of my other childhood stuff to charity shops I never even considered getting rid of these. In the last few years I've started collecting them again, and am happy to say that I've hit many of my goals, in part thanks to some great people on this board.

I mainly collect series 1, 2, 3 and the unpainted models from series 4; but also I'm trying to collect my favourite model, series 1's Werewolf, in as many different forms as possible.

Starting with the basics:

Series 1 normal colours- COMPLETE

Series 1 light purple- COMPLETE

Series 1 neon green- COMPLETE

Series 1 neon yellow- COMPLETE

Series 1 neon red- Just one needed! NR Goblin. Will pay or trade generously for one!

Series 1 premiums- plenty still needed, but I'm pretty happy with these

Series 2- COMPLETE

Series 3- COMPLETE enough for me- 1 of each sculpt

Series 4- unpainted

I have a couple of very cool wolfies on the way, but since they probably won't be here for a while I'm gonna jump the gun and display my current werewolf collection. It currently stands at 29 different types, not including customs (probably my next update):

8 MEG- red, olive green, neon yellow, neon red, neon green, light purple, premium pink, premium orange (complete)
5 Italian- gold, green, red, yellow, blue (complete)
4 Mexican sonrics- red, orange, yellow, dark purple (need- ??)
3 Argentine, solid- red, dark blue, pale purple (need- yellow, olive green?)
1 Argentine, mini- olive green (need-??)
4 Peru '90s- red, yellow, orange, purple (need-??)
4 Peru 2010- black, red, bright purple, orange (need- yellow)

If anyone has any werewolves not listed/pictured that they're willing to trade or sell, I'd be very interested! In particular I'd like to get some of the translucent Argentine ones.

In the sonrics i´ve seen Black, clear, blue, turquoise, light red, light purple, i just have the light red

Thanks Alfonso, I'll keep an eye out for those. Though I'm delighted to say I've managed to get hold of a black sonrics werewolf, which has been my 'holy grail' MIMP for a long time!

In other good news, I finally got that bloody neon red goblin I needed and now have a full set of neons! Once again, thanks to anyone who traded with me, I couldn't have done it without you. My MIMP goals are practically complete!

Congrats K on completing a full set of neon's

Next up is my small but very cool collection of werewolf customs, with much credit and thanks to those that made them:

-Solid silver werewolf, created by team Gorm Trans Monsters. Amazing.
-Hand painted werewolf (brown fur), by l.designs. Check out the blood glaze on the mouth.
-Hand painted werewolf (grey fur), by halfbad. Great detail on the face.
-Special FX customs, by Wolf Voigt. Two of them change colour in sunlight (one pink, one purple); two of them glow in the dark (one white, one green- the strongest GITD effect I've ever seen!); the black one goes clear in hot water; and a solid purple one that does nothing.... as far as I know!

All these little guys are pretty special and I'm proud to own them. And if anybody is planning on making an interesting werewolf custom, I'm probably interested, so let me know!

Somehow I've managed to get a complete set of premiums! Thanks to Behemoth (Jud, not the monster, though I'm sure he deserves thanks too) for the last two. Plus full set of GITD MIMPs.

Sweet set dude! I am one away from completing mine. That pesky Series 2 Green Ghost is all I need.
