I've just recently joined up here.  I wanted to share a retro-literature project I'm working on called "#140chars." While I'm trying to complete my collection, I'll be posting 140 character studies in 140 characters or less on Twitter.  If you're interested, please come check it out: https://twitter.com/hark_back

It's #208. I'm not sure about the name.  This one always made me laugh as a kid.

That's pretty cool!

Thank you so much!  It's fun to do and gives me an excuse to keep collecting.

Dickieman, what a wuss.

Here is the description from that one site:

http://www.i-mockery...nimocks/muscle/

Name: Firepits McDonnely
Number: 208
Description: "Ahhhh! My armpits are on fire!!!" Well, he says they are, but they're not literally on fire... they just feel that way to him. You see, Firepits McDonnely has a yet-to-be-classified fungus growing on his armpits. Doctors have tried everything from radiation treatments to luring out the fungus with raw goat meat. Nothing's worked. Sucks to be you Firepits McDonnely. Sucks real bad.

Harkback, this sounds like a great project. Just so I understand, this is what you are doing:

Selecting 140 MUSCLE figures

Taking a unique picture of each

Writing a 140 character story for each one

Posting each photo and story on Twitter

Posting one profile daily (more-or-less, but certainly not all at once)

And... you have currently done 8.

Sounds interesting. I was going to do something similar (like a contest) involving toys and the Six-Word Memoirs project:

Yeah, that's pretty much the gist.  Right now, I'm selecting one at random, almost daily.  I have about 70 or so of the flesh ones, so I'll need to start up collecting again shortly.  It's a good exercise for me.  Thanks so much for taking a look!

I love the Six-Word Memoir idea.  Let me know if you launch your own take on it, I'd definitely follow it.
