O.k. guys and gals. I have a question for all of you.

What do you plug into for search terms for BB? I am asking because, as a new collector, it might make it a tiny bit easier for us newer folks to not get ripped off if we look for an item under the proper setting.

Nothing sucks more than getting a "SUPER RARE BATTLE BEAST IN UNIQUE COLOR!" and finding out its only worth $10 when you paid $50.

Terms:

Battle Beast (usa)

Beastformers (usa)

Laser Beasts (usa)

 ビーストフォーマー (Japan)

 レーザービースト (Japan)

Warmonster (Canadian bootleg)

Do you guys use anything unique for Greek, mexico and other BB?

I can't really think of any specific keywording that would help you avoid misleading listings. Most of the modifications I make to my search queries involve hiding things that commonly turn up (for example, Toybiz Lord of the Rings had a subset of figures on mounts called "battle beasts", so I filter out "lotr" and "rings" from my searches.

However it's usually a safe bet to ignore terms like "super rare" "htf" or any of the other irrelevant things douchey sellers put into their auction titles because they don't understand how keywording works and use the title as space for useless buzzwords. Pretty much everything Beastformers related has been documented here, and anything that isn't would easily be identified, so if you're unsure about something your best bet would be to ask the forums.

Sounds like a plan. Hopefully the search for foreign toys will get easier.

Searching in Japanese you can always input ビーストフォーマー and レーザービースト. That might help you in that area.
