Hey guys, I always wanted to make figures and customs, problem is that I have NO idea what to use as the "rubber-type" material.

I've seen some really amazing customs here and I'd like some help.

Lets say you make the proto.

lets say you got a good silicone mold going.

What the hell do you pour into that?

How do you get the all the tones? Is it one type of material that just comes in colors? (duh, logic)

WHAT"S THE SECRET!

I really REALLY want to make some of my dream figures come true.

1:2 part mix, cures into a milky white basecolor. You have to mix in pigments to get the desired colors you want.

Oh man thanks so much! Do you have any other suggestions in general? I've made and casted a couple of things I have or have made .But mainly i used as my mold that fleshy spongy thing that sweats and turns to withered crap after while.

So yea, any help is welcome.

 

(let's just hope that they ship to Europe...)
