Hi everyone! I did some Battlebeast and Laserbeast pics for fun and thought I'd share, hope you enjoy! I'll post more as I make more composites.

Nice work man! It's been a while since I've seen any new BB/LB fanart around here.

 

Didn't you design that BB logo with the anime-style characters grouped behind it (and the chariots at the bottom)? Printed it onto a poster or something?

Oh wow, I forgot about that poster thing! I didn't create it, but a majority of the BattleBeast artwork in it was mine. The guy who did it lifted a lot of my art and put it in there without bothering to ask or give proper credit.

Interestingly enough, someone else lifted that composition image ( which I think is indexed on this site somewhere) from Google and was selling magnets of it on eBay.I bought one for a few bucks, but after posting about it here I learned where it came from. I confronted the seller and he refunded my cash and stopped selling them. Its the ciiiircle of liiiiife...

I don't think the guy was being malicious when he made that poster thing (if I remember right he mentioned using artwork he "found online"), but a little too willfully blind for my liking. The general "right-click-save" mindset the internet breeds is really off-putting, especially when someone benefits from work they didn't create. In a fanbase this niche, it wouldn't have been hard to figure out the original artwork belonged to myself and another member on the board named Psycrowe. Ah well, but that was years ago, fingers crossed these sketches will be enjoyed and won't wind up in another collage

Really? Too weird! That is karma for you, was the magnet at least nice?  Now that you mention it, I really wish Beast Saga had more collectible items like that, I'd drop a few bucks on a Rioga magnet in a heartbeat!

The cuttle is my fave but that crab is in such a menacing stance. Nice work!!!

Thanks, I'm glad you guys like em! I was always a big fan of Crab Hit, when I was little I wanted a larger, more detailed version of him (and a lot of other beasts) so bad! That hasn't changed much
