Err... how about this... WHAT does it MEAN?

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Literally: "Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain"
Technically: Nothing

It's simply the name of the technique (and if I recall, an actual Japanese saying that predates Kinnikuman) and it stands for "Fast like the wind, Quiet like the forest, conquer like the fire, immovable like the mountain"... which is why Suguru says that during the technique.

In the handwritten script I have my translator put in something along those lines. It seems she couldn't make out the precise details on it. So I'm guessing Suguru in that scene should read

Suguru:
"48 Killer Moves No.1
Fast like the Wind
Quiet like the forest
Conquer like the fire
Immovable like the mountain."

Here on the Akia Info page it's Listed in Prince Kamehame's Bio as "The 48 Special Techniques". So we seem to be going along the same lines there. I think in the UM Dub it was known as the "Elemental Mixer". Alot of what is written isn't in proper English which is why these things need a bit more tweeking/editing. We just gotta be careful not to butcher the broken "Engrish" that Yuda intended(if they intended) to stay broken particularly when it comes to the special techniques.

Yes... except that after he says "48 Killer Moves No. 1", he says "Fuu Rin Ka Zan". Then he says all that other stuff which "Fuu Rin Ka Zan" stands for...

And actually, the "Moves" in "48 Killer Moves" (48 Satsujin Waza) can also be translated as "Techniques", it's up to you, really ("moves" is just my personal preferance). But the first part (Satsujin) means "Killer".

"Elemental Mixer" sounds good to me, as that's an apt description-- its a move that represents four different elements. It also looks like it'd hurt like a beeyitch!

Oy... that's like calling the Yamato the "Argo" all over again... if I get the role of Kinnikuman can I say "Fuu Rin Ka Zan"?

The Spanish Dub kept the name Fuu Rin Ka Zan.

This looks like a great fan project. I hope the final result gets uploaded somewhere :ulp:

Then a proper fansub would also be nice :woot:

The "villain" from underground that talks to Kinnikuman might have a Kinkeshi of his own.

JKaris has one listed as "Boss of the Chikatetsucyozinka" that looks very much like him.

How do you say "Chikatetsucyozinka" without regurgitating, by they way?

Is this project dead? Cause I would love to try out for any roles... What are looking for as far as voices?
