The only marking on this griffin is "China." My first thought was groovy tubes, but that's not it.

That figure came as an accessory with an Imaginext wizard figure. I am trying to find a pic of the actual wizard figure but not having any luck. Here is a pic of the Griffin shown with the packaging:
