Got the following figure in with a lot from Japan that also included the 2 Megaman figures from the other topic (HERE) but since it didn´t have the same markings and it is missing the hole for it being able to tell it might be a pencil topper I guess it doesn´t belong to the Megaman line but hopefully someone is able to tell me more.

This little Orange Wizard (?), at least I´d say it must be some kind of wizard, is from plastic and on the bottom it says © San-X.

Hmmm looks like no replies so far while I honestly expected this would be an easy ID.

Have been looking into it a little more myself and it made me wonder whether we´ve to look into the direction of actionfigures and or movie/tv series for this little fellow because knowing the Japanese culture a little with the huge amount of mascottes they have I wouldn´t be surprised to find out if this orange wizard would represent some sort of a mascotte as well.

Maybe this is another way in that might help for some of you?

I can say with out a doubt that it is not from megaman. Also, I did a little poking around and found that this might be San-x's website. http://www.san-x.co.jp

Not quite sure if it really is because I cant read japanese.

I want to try and help you but I want to know some other things like possible time you think this toy might have come out. His head looks like a weird soldier crab...

Edit: Also do you think he could be something else besides a wizard? Also noticed dude has 3 eyes. That's pretty alien.

Thanks for thinking with me, here´s what I can add;

San-X is the company who produced this little fellow and since they seem to be pretty commercional I´m not really sure if it would be a mascotte but it could be.

I was just assuming it might be a wizard but it obviously could be completely something else as well so it could be a 3 eyed alian with a moustache ;)

When it comes to a time/period where this Toy came from it is hard to say since I got him in a lot with BB together with the other Megaman mentioned so he could be from the late 80´s or early 90´s based on that but he could also be pretty recent and somehow ended up in the lot so I don´t know.

Thanks for the help!

San-x was founded in 2001. found that out in my rather fruitless research, which leaves us with a 13 year time window.
