I am lookin at collecting MUSCLE figurines again. I had them all as a kid and deeply regret giving them away. I've found some on ebay for sale but shipping costs to Canada are prohibitive and can triple (or more) the cost of a simple purchase on top of being murdered on the exchange rate. Are there other stores or sites that anyone can recommend? Or any scams I should be avoiding? That would be good to know in advance.

Afraid I don't have much to trade with at the moment.

It's pretty crazy that there's free e-packet shipping from Hong Kong or China to the US but shipping something little across the US-Canada border costs over $20! I think MUSCLE did have a decent presence in Canada so I would suggest searching ebay for a bunch in Canada. I at least saw an Ultimate Muscle (though those aren't as cool) package in Canada and I think maybe some regular MUSCLE.

Canada is a pretty barren landscape as far as m.u.s.c.l.e goes. I keep reading that there were lots of figures, notably Class A's in Western Canada (where I am) but having stomped every vintage toy store, flea market, online ad and toy collectors expo's I have found a grand total of 2 figures (a class A #2 and a class A #60). They have largely disappeared from memory. The lone exception is southern Ontario (might as be Mars given how far away that it is) where I have found a few private online ads but the prices are no different than those offered on ebay. Of all the regular ebay suppliers I see, there is one lone Canadian from Manitoba whose shipping costs are even more than some Americans. If one is a Canadian muscle collector, one is going to have to accept paying a premium via exchange rates and shipping. First world problems, I know.
