WOW! That Venom does look awesome, but I must have Skull Face, Horn Head, and Slobulus!!

What an excellent, vivid re-imagining!

Their description says:

"MondoBalls™ are highly detailed, affordably-priced vinyl ball figures with a wide variety of characters and licenses."

So what do they consider affordably-priced?

Probably like $35-$50 per ball or more knowing Mondo right?

Well, I guess it's about time I cash in the ninety-bucks-worth of quarters in my change jar. :ermm:

"Mondo also has plans to release MondoBalls featuring characters from the Gremlins and Friday the 13th franchises."

Gremlins would be really cool to see.

I got really excited when I heard about this too, and I mentioned it here:

http://www.littlerub...howtopic=230271

Then I got way less excited when Eric Nilla said they would probably be $50 or $60 each.  TMFM

"MondoBalls™ are highly detailed, affordably-priced vinyl ball figures with a wide variety of characters and licenses."

Sheesh... $50 or $60!? Each!!?? I mean, I really want them, but jeez that's alotta scratch to cough up if you want all 3 of 'em!

$90 to $125 for the trio seems almost acceptable, but if I'm gonna have to shell out $180 for 'em (because I can't pick just one) I'm probably gonna just forego the purchase altogether and make a nice desktop wallpaper of them instead LOL

I mean come on Mondo! You couldn't make a reasonable profit on these things at 30 bucks??

They shouldn't be that expensive. I've read more than one report stating they won't be.

Well now that's much more reasonable :D

Though I wouldn't be surprised if they're still a bit more than $15...

Regardless, if the paintwork and detail is anything like the prototypes these things are gonna be awesome!

Has anyone noticed the article about them on the Mondo site isn't there anymore?

Anyone see these new madballs (different from the Mondo versions)?  I like them, although they look a bit more simplistic in design.  Will be interested to see the animated shorts as well.

Yeah Im not a fan of the X pupils. Preordered the Mondo ones, so I'll have to buy these and the id robots as well.

I pitched a whole new sports line based around madballs, they told me its been done before. As a serious madball fan, it was quite insulting since I am aware of just about every official madball toy out there.

If the keychains are actually spherical and not just enamel shapes, and the chain not pre drilled... Those are a def buy.  Though maybe not all of them. They are kinda pricey.
