Hard plastic/keshi bug men

Insect wrestlers from japan, pretty sure these are bootleg/ knockoffs though. There are a few different types, these look like the basic ones, some others are very elaborate and have clear wings underneath the shell. Go to the full post

Peeps!

A buddy gave these three figures to me today. He's hoping I can find out what they are, (and I'm also Hella interested in finding out, if at all possible.)

They have moving parts, different for each figure. And all of the humanoid limbs are really soft keshi.

There are no markings that I can find.

I thought "oh, okay, Draz needs me to ID some Kamen Riders, no big". Well eff.

 

Is that removable armor? If so, what do the figures look like underneath? How about the backs of the bugmen?

I managed to get one apart. The plastic is really cheap feeling, so I don't want to risk breaking them. I'm going to assume they're all like the one I got apart. (I've updated my original post.)
