Yeah I was wondering if it was a prequel... I can't recall any of the games where he uses a spear! That was cool. And so much climbing...

I miss Ocarina of time Link and Old NES link. The new styles dont do much for me. Im sure this game is going to be amazing though.

I'm one of the few that never got into Ocarina of Time, I give it props for being groundbreaking at the time... but it was never really my thing.  That could also have something to do with the fact that I actually skipped the N64 generation, so I never had that same sense of nostalgia about the game.  My fav or the 3D Zelda games was Wind Waker which is divisive for some - because not everyone loved the cell shaded graphics/ toon-ish Link.  However if you go back and look at WW today, I think it really holds up graphically with some of the more modern games.  That's one of the reasons I was considering getting the Wind Waker Remix for the Wii U... but never did get around to it.

I do miss the 2D stuff though for sure!

I'm curious how this version of Zelda will play out considering it's supposedly "open world-ish".

Yeah, this game is looking beautiful. Finding weapons, climbing trees. This will totally ruin my free time when it comes out. Also I have to buy a wii u.

Well at the very least Red, you are getting a WII U towards the end it's life cycle - so it should be relatively inexpensive.  AND you catch up on some of the games you missed which should ALSO be relatively inexpensive.

OOT is vastly over-rated by peeps with rose-tinted glasses. Was it a good game? Yes. Was it the best Zelda? Absolutely not.

I don't want to spoil this game for myself on any level, so I have only watched, (and will ONLY watch), the new trailer. It is everything I could want in a Zelda game and more.

If you have any inclination to buy the new "NX", then save your cash. This game will be coming to both Wii U and the NX, and the Wii U honestly isn't worth the scratch unless you get it cheap. (Nintendo pretty much abandoned the platform.)

Yeah - I totally forgot that they were gonna release this on Both platforms... see I agree with Draz.  If you were thinking of buying the NX - save the new Zelda for the new platform.

This looks amazing! I'll definitely end up spending hours into this game. The question is if it'll be released along side the NX, and if to get the NX Zelda bundle or get the WiiU version. Since I'll end up getting the NX no matter what I'll probably get that one... Haha! :)

It sux we have to wait until Spring of next year for the NX!!!!!!!!

Out of all the Nintendo announcements at E3 (and you could probably count them on one hand there were so few), I am excited about Zelda (of course) and the GLOW IN THE DARK BOO Amiibo!

I was thinking of that today while watching videos and such. I read that the "NX" is supposed to come out in March next year. I will just wait for the NX!

Pokemon Sun and Moon will hold me over till then!

Just re-watched the live stream from yesterday. The game is so pretty. It is like running around in a Miyazaki film haha.

Maaaaannn - I so wish they would just come out with a full on Pokemon console game (as opposed to a handheld).  Whenever they have something Pokemon related, it's not a true Pokemon game, just some sort of spin off.  : /

To be fair, Pokemon has always been a handheld title.

I know... It's just something that I would love to see on a larger platform. On a larger screen lol...

Make a massive RPG Pokemon game for the Wii U or NX or whatever and I would buy that in a heartbeat. And I know I'm not the only one who has felt this way... I'm shocked sometimes that they haven't done it sooner. Instead we get stuff like Pokken. Which I still haven't played btw.
