LOOKS: 4 out of 5
Obi-Wan looks great! Flowing lines, a sharp sculpt, and somewhat precise paint details make this figure look nice and clean. However, his mouth has a somewhat strange shape. I'm not sure if he's supposed to be smiling or scowling. But either way, the enigma doesn't take away from the figure's looks.
ARTICULATION: 1.5 out of 5
Ben has only four swivel joints at the neck, shoulders, and waist. Additionally, with his pre-posed arms, even this limited articulation is not very useful. I've been able to get him in only two different poses. A cartoon figure like this should play well, and Ben clearly does not.
ACCESSORIES: 2 out of 5
Obi-Wan comes with a lightsaber and a stand. The stand is nifty, and the lightsaber sports some impressive details. But since some Star Wars figures come with partial playsets, these two puny accessories are not adequate.
VALUE: 2 out of 5
Ben cost $7.00 at Target. Ugh. Considering Ephant Mon cost $5, this is a rip.
COOLNESS: 4 out of 5
This wave includes the first cartoony Star Wars figures since Droids and Ewoks. And the style of the figures are really nifty. They are definitely a distinctive and impressive addition to a Star Wars display.
INITIAL OVERALL: 2.7 out of 5
These first few animated Clone Wars figures reminds me of the first wave of Justice League figures: limited articulation, few accessories, and hefty price tag. Mattel caught on quickly that the JL fans wanted articulation and cool accessories. Hopefully, Hasbro follows suit with the animated Clone Wars line.

STAYING POWER: 1 out of 5
Obviously, Ben didn't get much play time. The lack of articulation made him a very dull addition to my collection. $7 down the tubes...
I recommend this toy to MOC collectors, though. The packaging is quite nice. But for my purposes, Obi-Wan is pretty much worthless.
