I know I discussed this with Marty a while back, but in addition to Ninja Mites, Panosh Place did a similar LRG line called Dino Mites. It was done in the same vein...little rubber figures with GITD highlights, except instead of ninjas, it was a line of Dinosaurs.

I'm not sure this is the best way to start a discussion, but in addition to the MUSCLE mystery figure/prototype that I posted, my sister knew a sculptor who worked on the line and hooked me up with these resin prototypes. These are hand-painted casts of the original sculpts. Not that you even see Dino Mites all that often, but I'm sure coming across stuff like this happens far less frequently. Anyway, enjoy!

i saw a dino mite product at kmart the other day. there was a little tank of water with an egg floating in it with a dino head poking out of it. it said some nonsense about feeding it to make it happy or some such thing. would have bought it if the price wasn't outrageous. $8!!!!

Those prototypes are great.

Most of the Dino Brites I've seen just have a number and "China" stamped on the underside, but the Styrakosaurus I have looks like it says "87 Panosh".

So does that mean there was an official Panosh Dino Brites line, and a knockoff line later?

Dino Brites! I didn't think they needed their own thread but I wanted to share

I only have one Dino Mite, and I couldn't find him. So here's all the Dino Brites I have at the moment! I remember I had a yellow tyrannosaur and a couple of others too.
