I don't have a hyper Barrage yet, but my Crystal Maelstrom (first one) definately did. It seems like every few you get there's some sort of problem going on, either it won't stand, or the paints bad, or a few I've gotten are missing numbers on their feet. Hopefully it's just that the toys are new. Wizkids figures started like that, the first Mage Knight series looked awful, but now they're much better.

I received the Battle Box today and a 5 pack I ordered with it. Has anyone else noticed that the 5 packs from Amazon come with a yellow plastic holder rather than the blue? Both packs I've received from them have had 2 hypers and a crystal in them also....

The packs I got from amazon had yellow holders as well. I haven't been able to find them in stores around these parts yet, so I figured they were all like that. I wonder if the color of the insert signifys something?

The other thing I've noticed is that the packs from Amazon have stickers on the front (warning of a choking hazard) and back at the bottom (giving contact info). The ones that I've bought in stores didn't have these.

Yeah, I was a fairly avid Mage Knight collector/player until they upped the price by about 80% per figure, and changed the rules to make the game needlessly complicated. I have an enormous Black Powder Rebels army.

And kudos to Goriki for the trade, got the figures today. I love Stench!! hehe.

I gave up on mage Knight, too - problem is, I still have a ton of figures.

I haven't found ANY Fistful of Power ANYWHERE.

And by the way, a good miniatures game that's still inexpensive is the D&D one - you can get lots of monsters for cheap.

Yeah, I have a bunch of the D&D miniatures, and it does play well (unlike the ill-fated Mage Knight Dungeons which was impossible to win if you played by the rules). I bought a bunch of the Star Wars minis too, although the second series was based on the new films, and much like the films themselves, were disappointing and lame.

The star wars minis are very small

The really nice thing about D&D Minis is that they are CHEAP. most cost under $1, and the average "rare" is like $5-6.

The last couple of packs had fairly different assortments than the ones with the same visibles that I had bought, so I took a chance and got another pack with a visible strog, and ended up with the same assortment I had before, so I'm guessing whoever proposed that there are perhaps multiple set arrangements per visible figure was right on the money.

I have to say that Tendril is my favorite, followed by the spider and the Egyptian ones.

I haven't seen ANY of these figures ANYWHERE.

The local Walmart and Target doesn't have them here but both Toys r Us stores that I've been to have had them, though practically hidden....
