Voting has finished and OT just announced the series 4 lineup. I personally couldn't be happier, and will definately be backing this one! I pretty much like all the characters this time around. *Shock*
I voted for 3 of these- Wooly Wisp, Fossil Freak & Gorms Tree dude.

Thoughts?

Edit- oh yeah, forgot Gormtransmonster is on here too, congratulations for getting in buddy!

I agree I voted for the 3 you mentioned as well... Can't wait to get these I also think Bullseye with have some kickass custom paintjobs among artists so I am stoked for that as well... The mermaid character is a bit of a shock but its a female character :)

3 of the designs I voted for made it so I'm pleased enough. Looks like a really great series.

I will be very happy to have wooly wisp and tree monster on my shelf. Might like fossil freak depending on who ends up sculpting it....

Thank you very much guys! I'm so happy to be part of the line.

Just I was asking to myself why the other bulleye sculpt has been choosen to make the prototype.

I think my job is a bit better than George job on the figure, I can't understand...

However, so happy that Treewitched it's a real OMFG! character now!!  :bunny:   :bunny: :drinks: :bunny:  :bunny:

Thanks to who has supported me on the OT Forum and here on LRG.

A special thanks to Metalmonkey, 80schild, Leviathan, andy53600, Mudmarox, JKaris and all the others great MIMPs collectors who voted for me.

The mermaid character is seriously meh and doesn't make sense but there seems to be a subset of nerds who want to play with girl toys. I suppose it's easier than going out and buying yourself a Barbie doll.

However all the others are cool, and I voted for Fossil Freak, Bullseye (despite my misgivings over them using the "wrong" sculpt) and Gorm's excellent tree monster. Congrats GTM :)

Although I only voted for one of those, I like them all (although I still think the Siren is a bit too tame-looking for OMFG). Best set since series 1, I think.

Congrats GTM!

I'm looking forward to Treewitched. Very cool sculpt. It's a very MIMP-esque lineup, including Siren.

To be honest on the Bull's Eye thing, emboyd is the one that should be a little upset. He is the one that Raging Nerdgasm gave permission to sculpt the design. You kinda did it on your own like you did with Living Candle and Crypt Golem. I think George's sculpt is a closer match to the Bull's Eye design, and the tail placement should keep it from needing to be a glued on part.

3 of 5 are pretty solid!  Don't care for the mermaid or the eyeball, but I love me some tree people!

Congrats GTM!

I am so glad to see that the brainwave and ice cream cone got bumped out.

This is a great line-up. Not Series 1 awesome, but much better that the whole of S2 or S3.

I like Brain Waves and maybe even Killer Kone more than the two they got bumped for, but it's good OT is stepping in if they think the voting looks fishy.

I hope Joe Whiteford sticks around and keeps submitting designs even though Brain Waves got bumped. His designs are pretty cool and his OMFG fan art is awesome.

Well, 2 of my choices got in. I didn't vote for Wooly Wisp because I figured he was a shoo-in then I kinda got worried when I did a rough count. Glad to see OT used their better judgement. Though the wrong mermaid got selected.

I agree with what SD said. The only time I went over to OT forums to look at the voting, they were going apeshit over the mermaid and "OMG FINALLY A GIRL!!!!"

Hard to call it a male-dominated toy-line when most of them are genderless.

On the plus side, I love 3/5 and the eyeball I don't mind. In fact, I'd take the eyeball over most of the other entries that were going to win. I might even have to buy a set of S4.

Any idea what the kickstarter is going up??

Yeah, the other mermaid was my first choice, but I like this one a lot, too. The ship in her hand is a pretty neat add.

That Ice Cream cone figure would make a great vinyl, and I think those are the folks that were voting for it anyways. So hopefully he can go the route of deadbeet. Brainwaves is neat and I'd buy him as a separate figure, but with so many other better OMFG type figures in the line up, I would have been really bummed if he made it in.

This lineup is closer to the first series, than the last two. At least there is that.

Congrats, GTM, on de-pussifying OMFG 4. Great work, man. I'm going to have to get your APs for sure.

George said something along the lines of them speeding up the time it takes to flesh out some prototypes so they can get manufactured quicker, which would be nice.

I take it that Siren will have the sculpt that George has already done up, Treewitched is finished, so is Wooly Wisp & bullseye
(I actually prefer the tail placement on GTM's bullseye, that and the horns look a bit better on too IMO).
So that means only Fossil Freak needs to be sculpted, and probably the others getting some minor refining.

Can't imagine it taking too long to do one figure!
