Words of Wisdom.....Posting amounts of bids real or implied isnt a good idea.
Bidding on auctions is kinda like poker you keep your cards close to you so others cant see. Dont go telling people how much your bidding or how much you will pay for something.
There are some people that may visit the board for just that thing like Doc was talking about.
Keep your bids private. If you want to let others know about a lot that your looking at thats cool. Just refraine from getting to excited while typing. We got a good group here and no one wants to watch a member get taken to the cleaners.
We keep a preety good eye on the auctions on ebay so we can figure out users that seem to get to much money for a regular auction or someone who seems to just bump the price of things up but hardly ever wins.

Not necessarily, if Yapiel is selling it, it would be legit, as he is the high bidder. If the original seller sells it, he's fake.Everybody keep on your guard. If you see an auction with the purple Hand by either yapiel or the seller, let everyone know on this board immediately so we can report him/her/it to ebay.

I agree with Johnny on this one.Not necessarily, if Yapiel is selling it, it would be legit, as he is the high bidder. If the original seller sells it, he's fake.
Yapiel has the right to sell it since he is the high bidder and does own the figures now. However, if the seller sells it again, then we have something to worry about.
This is what puzzles me. The seller ick@aol.com is a very high feedback seller, which makes it unlikely that he is a fake or even an ebay abuser. The only reason he would need to sell again is if Yapiel ends up not paying for the auction that he won. Then the seller would have the right to relist it again.
Or if ick@aol.com is yapiel and he used this identity to bid up the price at the end. But how can we confirm this?

i was ducussing ip the other day with a few people on another message board
Cable and dsl have dynamic ips like dial up to a extent.
dialup it's like 127.0.**.***
with cable each users has a 127.0.999.***
so it's easier to ban, and the 999 would be your account and the 0 would be the area in your account
well thats how my cable company works it
the last 3 digit are randomized monthly for protection reasons
//---------------------------
now on to the crazy talk, i mean i suggested my scalper a while back
and i thought it was alittle off the wall , but to see everyone taking notice
now, is quite shocking.
A buyer beware forum is a awsome idea and webpage i'd love to have the blessing to add both to my message board/ website
like don't snipe these names
don't buy from these names
and always trust these names.

if anyone wants something done let me know i'm free drop me a line
and maybe I can help arrange something with you all.

Do you guys think that Yapiel is one of the people possibly watching the board? You are right about that though, Doc. I didn't think about that until now, why such the sudden huge money spend for just 8 M.U.S.C.L.E. Men? We may have found our eavesdropper!
