As I've been thinking more and more recently about trying to pick up series 3 MIMP, I've been noting down completed listings in order to give me a 'better' idea of what I should expect to pay.

Below is most of what has sold via eBay since April 2014, to which I intend to add to as and when I get the chance. Please feel free to contribute further completed listings, either from eBay sales or any others you know of, following this simple format:

- Name and colour of figure(s)
- Date sold
- Final price
- Auction or BIN
- Any other information you feel relevant

*Optional information:
- Picture of the figure(s)
- Name of winner (if you see this as being relevant)

The intention of this thread is to track price, hence why I have left 'name of winner' as optional.

**********************************

*Mixed lot featuring 7 series 3 figures* - Jimmy Squarefoot (pink & blue), Amphisbaena (blue), Abominable Snowman (pink & orange), Anubis (pink & green)
- Sale date: 29th April 2014
- Final price: £357.10 (difficult to calculate price per figure)
- Listing type: Auction

This awesome lot not only contained 7 series 3 figures, but also a mix of rare/uncommon series 1 & 2 figures, premiums and other sought after MIMP. Due to this fact, it's pretty much impossible to work out a price per figure for the series 3 items. It's also worth noting that all of the 7 series 3 figures were later re-listed by the winner for BIN prices. It's quite obvious to see which they are below.

Amphisbaena (blue)
- Sale date: 29th May 2014
- Final price: £58.91 ($100 USD)
- Listing type: BIN

Anubis (green)
- Sale date: 30th May 2014
- Final price: £58.91
- Listing type: BIN

Abominable Snowman (orange)
- Sale date: 30th May 2014
- Final price: £58.91
- Listing type: BIN

Jimmy Squarefoot (blue)
- Sale date: 1st June 2014
- Final price: £58.91
- Listing type: BIN

Blemmyea (blue)
- Sale date: 5th June 2014
- Final price: £35
- Listing type: Auction
*Blemmyea had a slightly damaged hand*

Jimmy Squarefoot (pink)
- Sale date: 11th June 2014
- Final price: £47.13
- Listing type: BIN

Small lot x 3 - Siren (pink), Leviathan (orange), Centaur (blue)
- Sale date: 15th June 2014
- Final price: £119.89 (£39.69 per figure)
- Listing type: Auction

Anubis (pink)
- Sale date: 17th June 2014
- Final price: £58.91
- Listing type: BIN

Prices on these are back up again. About a year ago I was picking them up for $20-40 each. Except the Purple and Blue ones.

It will be good to see how the price fluctuates. I was well chuffed with the price of the purple Snowman :)

Abominable Snowman (blue)
- Sale date: 28th July 2014
- Final price: £44.75 (£30 if taking into account the common figures in the lot)
- Listing type: Auction
*The Snowman was part of a mixed lot of 31 figures, but as the other 30 were all common, it can be said with some certainty that the final price was solely for the series 3 figure*
*In the unlikely event that people were also bidding on the common figures, then this would downgrade the value of the Snowman to approximately £30*

Didn't you just value commons at 50p each in another thread? So using your own logic, the price of the S3 figure is £30.

I'm not basing it on that, I'm basing it on the fact that the those common figures would be ignored by anybody bidding on the lot. All they would care about is the series 3. If you want to value it at £30 then be my guest. I will add this in as an extra note just for you.

Orobas (pink), Centaur (pink), Amphisbaena (pink), Siren (pink), Anubis (pink), Abominable Snowman (orange)
- Sale date: 30th July 2014
- Final price: *Between £40 - £55 per figure
- Auction type: BIN
*The reason for the 'between' status of the final price is because, despite the figures being listed as £55 BINs, contact with the seller suggested that a group offers would potentially be considered, including one at around £160 for 4.

Jimmy Squarefoot (*green)
- Sale date: 9th August 2014
- Final price: **£17.85
- Listing type: Auction
*This figure had two red stains to its back, possibly from contact with another MIMP over time.
**The price may have been effected by the fact the seller stated they would not ship internationally, only USA and Canada, yet upon contact they said they actually would ship to England.

Nope, in fact 99% of the ones in this thread were listed on eBay.com or, on the odd occasion, just eBay Canada.

I only search for them for this price tracker, as I'm only after pink series 3. Four more to go :)

I want all of the Leviathans in both upside down point values and regular point values. Not sure if each color comes like that or not though.

Well I've managed to get a hold of 3 Canadian premiums still sealed in Shreddies wrappers this year alone.

These weren't ebay auctions though, I merely got these from other LRG members. Nevertheless, I'm nearly halfway there already with only 5 to go, guess it's just a matter of how long these will take to track down now. And considering how elusive just ordinary loose figures are, I reckon I've got a hell of a mammoth task finding sealed versions!

I haven't noticed much price difference between sealed and loose ones. Sure the sealed ones are a little harder to find, but most Series 3 aren't really that rare. Just really popular.

Yeah I undersatnd that. I suppose it's about being patient and keep checking ebay regularly like I always do. Would be nice to own the original cereal box too. Can't say I've ever seen one listed on there though.

I've not seen it either. Would be nice to have it. I own the box with the series 1 premiums from the US, but not Series 3. Did they make a real checklist for Series 3 or is the box the only one?

No such list exists as far as I know Behemoth. I think only the reverse side of the cereal box has the descriptions of the figures which this MIMP archive site will tell you.http://www.toyarchiv.../MIMP73-80.html

Although there's no text describing Blemmyea on there for some reason. There was certainly no background story of him anywhere in the NES game manual or cardboard sleeve either.
