I was thinking the same thing about the Drill that picture loks doctored to more i look at it. i can't remember where i found the picture oh so many yrs ago, looks like a cool color 'eh?! Wood Fire Water drills......marty??? oh Marty???? is the mad scientist in you going to come out and play???????My elephant looks like that one. The green drill looks fake to me. I can be wrong. The black parts should at least show a few details since the white part of it is so bright. So the light should at least hit part of the drill in front and show some grooves, but in the picture, it's solid black.
Where did you find the picture?

The Elephant IS the one that ANother Fan one from the "Viper-NL," and that IS the photo they used in the auction. That Elephant was dyed, that is a fact, Jack!!!
Sorry Matt...
I do know that Dirk and Rueben did not try to scam anyone with that auction, because they didn't make any comments in the auction about it being something it wasn't, nor did they even comment on it at all.
It is kewl looking none the less.

PS. As far as a drill custom. I looked into it and seriously, it would be easy to do...minus the "pull back and go" motor...that I couldn't/wouldn't want to do.

It would still be kewl to see a super close up comparison of him and the normal lavendar one...I didn't care much about the elephant. I didn't even pay attention to it till it arrived at my doorstep. I just thought it was interesting that #8 came in that color. Now the mystery is solved. I guess I no longer have to post a pic of it now.
Post it here if you do:
