i work in account services for a cell phone provider, in other words i listen to people complain constantly, but it pays the bills decently for around where i live so i cannot complain at all.......hopefully it's a temp job till i can get hired at this chemical company here, and by temp job i do mean i've been there over two years lol

LOL how did you know about this show!?! 

Its pretty cool as they either boobytrap or hunt down criminals in that show or come up with these fun gimmicks like this. 

Looks like its pretty efficient

I used to work at a ToysRUs about 20 years ago!!!  It wasn't all that great, but I got to get to all the toys before the customers too.  This was in the height of the Spawn (comics/toys) faze and I was able to pick out some nice Malebolgia (only one per case) figures.  And Power Rangers stuff.

 

The worst part was that they didn't give us ANY discount!!!

 

I just read someone saying that they worked at Wal-Mart (I don't remember who) and they get a 10% discount.  That would have been AWESOME back in the day...

 

Sigh.

I worked midnight shift in the Walmart electronics dept after graduating high school and yeah, they give a 10% discount. Miserable job though; I made it until Black Friday and quit the day after. Of all the retail positions I'd put Walmart pretty low on the list of desireables based solely on the majority of the client base. Also, I thought Electronics sounded like a cool department to work in until I realized the programming they show on the display TV loops about every 10 minutes. Quick road to insanity.

Oh man -

 

I was so confused... when I went to bed there were 2 pages on this thread and now there are 9.  I went through and read them all and realized that the previous thread (that folks were talking about was added).  That's what Admin meant when they said "bumped for the newbies"... kinda new to the board thing.

 

Of course now it makes sense why some of the posts were from over 5 years ago...

My wife works at Target. 10% discount plus the 5% with the Red Card that anyone can get.

 

I'm an accounting manager. Likely getting laid off mid-September. The company I work for was bought by a larger company 4 years ago. Transitioning legacy systems to the new company has been slow, so I've been gradually losing my job for 4 years. I'm working from home and my boss and co-workers are a couple time zones away, so it's a pretty nice situation while it lasts.

The cell company you work for happen to change there name back and forth and use alot of blue and orange in there advertisements? I worked Customer care for that particular cell company for quite a few years but and am happy to say I've been call centre free for almost 4 years. LOL

Not sure what show(s) you helped cast, but as an insider can you confirm that it's 95% scripted scenarios built around a personality? I'm pretty sure this is the case but I've had people dispute me and try to say that Duck Dynasty is "real"
