Hello fellow FoP collectors there is some disinformation Id like to clear up. (TLDR at the end)

It has to do with the so called Finnish/Scandinavian Seer I own, specifically the painted colors.

I joined this forum years ago after lurking for a while to really get into the FOP collecting. Back then I didnt know much about the line, especially the true rarity of some series 2 figures, which made up most of my collection at the time. I had read enough to know Seer was a really rare one and posting about it first blew up pretty hard.

In the midst of the discussions I noticed people were really interested in the Seer and talking to few collectors I realized condition was a big deal in the community. Thats where my trouble began.

As I realized the true value of Seer and its paint scheme I made the claim of getting him out of the box unpainted, when in reality due to my dislike of the figure and the paint starting to flake I had scratched the paint off of him. When people asked about it I was too embarrassed to admit I had basically ruined the figure by scraping the paint off.

I even doubled down on my stupid ass-lie when Seers colors were brought into discussion later on, hence the disinformation wording.

The reason Im posting this is to apologize to collectors who may have been led astray looking for a variant that doesnt even exist. Lately more seers have been popping up and people have been searching for different variants of it, which in turn might lead more people searching Seer to my lies and frustrate even more collectors.

And for those collectors: My Finnish/scandinavian Seers torch was a pale white one. A variant of Seer I believe Ive seen posted on the forums.

I will add some pictures of the worst condition Seer you will ever see, to finally show the damage its endured over the years. There are even few spots of the old white paint on the base of the torch next to his head, but they arent easy to capture on camera.

Also theres a picture of the foot just to get all about the figure out there. It used to be numbered something/1000 but that has worn of at some point.

TLDR:

I lied, my Seer didnt come unpainted, I scrubbed to paint off for reasons and lied about it because I didnt want to admit ruining such a valuable figure. Im sorry for leading collectors astray by claiming to own a variant that doesnt exist.

Ps. Im not sure if this is the place for this or how necessary is this but I wanted to get this out there anyway just in case...

It's impressive you succeeded in scratching the white paint of the torch and yellow/black paint on the eyes without removing the purple paint !

Thats one way to look at it haha...

All though the torch definitely has some scratches on it from the scraping. As for the eyes I have a faint memory of those being stickers instead of paint (?) and those came of due to play wear early on.

If someone owns a proper Seer in good condition maybe they can confirm or debunk the sticker eyes?
