Got these in from the UK today. Just curious if anyone here has any information about when they were sold or what they were sold with. Any help would be appreciated and credited on my Facebook MIMP page

I'm trying to find out some information for you bud, as well as purchase a few of these myself. Trouble is, the seller seems to be living in a fantasy world when it comes to postage and combined postage prices. They're badges for God's sake, they weigh virtually nothing!!

Badges used to be pretty commonly given away with comics. That would be my best guess.

I've been given information suggesting that these MIMP badges were available/given away at toy trade shows, to basically advertise the release of series 1.

The seller said he bought them from a former Matchbox employee. So the trade show theory matches with that perfectly. Thanks everyone for the help!
