Anyone seen these "Robot Warriors" or "Robotakons" at their local vending machine locations?

They look to be rubber like, and about 2 inches tall, and they might be articulated. I've seen them offered by wholesalers, but I haven't seen any locally so I wonder if they've made it out to market yet.

Here in Boise I've seen them and they're already unfindable again being replaced with a Batman capsule machine at one grocery store and puppy/kitty capsule machine at the Wal Mart. The arms and legs are articulated.

I hugely regret not getting more of these when they were available here in southern maryland.

My bro and I each got one from a vending machine in Wal-Mart. Sometime earlier this year, our local Wal-Mart did away with all of their toy/candy vending machines. I haven't seen these robots anywhere else since then.

I think our machine only sold robots that were gray with blue highlights. It definitely didn't have those cammo robots, at least.

One dollar?! I think they were 50 cents over here. Do you live in a big city or something?

For .50 cents? Wow...id be all over something like that. It reminds me of the 80's when every vending machine had some Transformers inspired capsule toy.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

My local Publix (grocery store) had a vending machine with these when I moved to northeast Florida a bit over a year ago. I would get one every time I went, to make hated grocery shopping tolerable ;)

They looked like the ones in the blister pack above, with colors variants between the differnt ones. Their arms and waists (as applicable) swivel.

About three months after I discovered them, the machine jammed up and the coin tumbler woundn't turn. It remained like this for at least THREE MONTHS. Gee, you'd think the vending machine guy would see why they weren't selling? The solution was to take the 'bots out, and replace them with something crappy. I haven't seen any since.

The guy in the pack on the upper left is cool! I never got one like that. I have scads of the type on the upper right.

I have recently posted a large lot of these on eBay. Just search for Robotakons (these are actually Robot Warriors) and it's currently the only search result.

Here's the link:
http://www.ebay.com/...-/252008584795?

You'd probably do better to break them into sets and sell them that way.

$525? Hahaha, good luck. Their worth is closer to $100, .25-.50 cents each, MAX in this sized lot.

You could probably get $1 each in sets.

Thanks, I know. I'm selling them for a friend and he wants to either sell the lot or keep them. They're almost impossible to find now so I'm just gonna keep reposting it forever until somebody decides that they can't live without them anymore or until he decides he'll let them go for less in smaller lots :-)

I hope your friend likes to sit on bags of toys for forever.
