Wow! Quite a beautiful auction just hit YAJ. Some pretty amazing cards and premium stuff in this lot. Aside from the four sunburst cards and stone cobra card, there appears to be a stack of Meiji foil cards and one of BF/LB cards that he doesn't even mention, sitting next to what could be a full set of gumballs. Oh and there's a stone cobra and both clear guys too. All starting at 1000yen.

Sadly the sheer volume of this lot says to me that this will go into the thousands, essentially high enough to exclude anyone but resellers, so it's more than likely going to end up re-hashed as a bunch of jacked up BiN listings on eBay in a few months. Would have been cool if the seller had split it all up so more people could get the stuff at a fair price, but still cool to see astounding listings like this when they happen, so I had to share.

I would just be pleased with a Kingbuster in my collection. The rest of this lot would be just gravy.

If only I had eight billion Canadian laying around!

You knowledgeable BB guys should each enter the price that you think it will go for.  And the person closest gets a sticker or something.

Wow!  I figure if you broke up the lot and sold each piece separately you are looking at $4k - $5k (depending on what's in the gumball bag & how many meiji cards there....its tough to tell)

How much do you guys think this lot will go for, realistically?

It is tax season, and I bet I could unload those sleds pretty easily here....just sayin....

Didn't notice any weapons, wouldn't that keep the price from going too bonkers?

I couldn't give you an accurate quote, but this auction has a lot of the higher end items that some folks can only ever dream of. ( IE: Me   )

But like any auction, if nobody bids it could be the steal of the century. Your next issue after this is finding willing and able buyers to be able to make your money back and maybe some profit.

If you do bid and win, we gotta be talking about some pieces in there! ;)

it reduces the overall value for sure, but there are only a few high-end LBs in the lot. Compared to the cards and premium figs/cards shown (especially the gumballs) those figs are likely going to be negligible for most who are going to be interested in this lot.

Wow an awesome lot, would fill a few gaps in my collection thats for sure!!

Whats the bet there is stackload of weapons inside the eagle?

I believe the seller specifically mentions there aren't weapons, but it's possible. I bought a YAJ lot that came with a shocking shark playset and there were two LB rifles and a blue eagle smuggled in the back compartments that weren't mentioned in the auction ;)

Wow!  I figure if you broke up the lot and sold each piece separately you are looking at $4k - $5k (depending on what's in the gumball bag & how many meiji cards there....its tough to tell)

I think this is a good general estimate, with emphasis on the parenthetical part, but imo it's really going to depend more on the buyers in the market at the moment than the actual value of the lot. Once you get past $1k potential buyers will drop off rapidly, so I don't think it's a stretch to say that whoever wins this will be getting a bargain. It's just a matter of who wants to/ has the ability to drop the cash at the moment.

When I checked to see the ending price this morning the page had cached and stopped updating so it looked like the final price was just over $1k. I almost lost my mind haha.

Still entirely possible for winner the recover all of that and more, bit yeah believe this is the highest I've ever seen a BF/LB lot sell for.

I'll do the formality of asking if anyone here won it, though tbh I don't expect I'll get an answer

4380.85........ thought about it and if I had allot of extra cheddar sitting around (aka won the lottery) I'd definitely drop it on this and other big lots :) Rather have a bunch of awesome figures than a nice car!

At this point, is there any advantage to buying internationally? It seems like the Beastformers is as strong over in Japan as it is here.

definitive yes; huge auctions like this are going to grab big-money attention from the resellers, but you can still find deals all the time. E.g. a lot with clear carp recently went for about $8
