I recently bought a Stone Cobra Battle Beasts figure. Of course I based whether or not to buy on the images. The figure in the images of the listing that I bought has two unique flaws.
Just earlier tonight, I found another Stone Cobra listing that was posted back in March. A couple of months before the listing I bought. And it's the exact same images of the figure with the exact same flaws. I contacted the seller of the listing that was still up about the images. They didn't respond. But they took down the listing instantly. I also contacted the seller I bought from asking the same question. Which I haven't heard from yet.
Anyone encounter this before? I'd think that stock images wouldn't be allowed to be used for used items that need to be shown for condition and legitimacy.
Update: The seller of the one I bought assured me that I'll be getting what's pictured. So there's that assurance. Which leads me to another question. Could the same person have multiple accounts to sell the same item over a few listings? This could be just me over thinking things. But another example is the Silver White Leo. The seller I bought from has one up as well as another Japan seller. Again, both using the same exact images of the figure. But, the second seller of the Leo isn't the same as the seller who took down their 'fake' Stone Cobra listing. Which would mean that the seller I bought from would have at least have 3 accounts. Again, most likely just me over thinking.
