The Target I work for put the single blind boxes out. They're $10 a piece. I picked up four to check them out.(sorry for the quality of the pics)
The packaging is amazing. Gold like foil all around. Instructions on the back. I looked the package over and didn't find any type of serial number to distinguish a figure from another.

The first thing you'll find after opening is a paper map. On the other side is more instructions and a checklist of figures in the set.

This is all the contents of opening the package. The red tool is very sturdy. It's the same in all packages. The hunk of rock is wrapped up in a gold like plastic. I needed to use a blade to open it enough to remove it. There is a circle marker that you place on the map. Line up the holes on the marker to reveal what golden treasure you could possibly get. The rock itself is messy. Doesn't depend on how you go about removing it to get to the figure pieces. I wet it the first time like the instruction's suggested, only to be met with a messy soup. I took apart the other three dry. Not so gross, but the chunks and dust still got everywhere. I was digging the figures out from inside a plastic bag. The best way I found was to take the larger point of the tool and drill holes in on both sides until it came apart. Then I started breaking the stone apart with my hands. Felt like I had more control of the mess that way. Send the kids outside to dig. Or you could just have the vacuum ready.

After all the digging you have two legs, two arms, a head, a torso, a weapon, and a treasure chest. The treasure chest and torso are wrapped in plastic. Again I needed my blade to remove the plastic. There is an orange like sand inside the treasure chest. You're supposed to use water to make the sand fizz then dump it out. I did that the first time, then just dumped the sand out the others. Each figure comes with a green treasure matching them. I didn't get any gold treasure. The figures are sturdy, slightly bendable plastic. The joints go easy into the torso. All the left hands are in the same position. Maybe to hold the treasure?

There's my score. I like these figures. There is a good variety of different ones. Getting them out of the stone is kind of a hassle when you have more than one to open. It took me a while to open them, clean the figure pieces, and clean up the mess I made. But I could see anyone having a good time with at least their first one. I'm honestly thinking of buying one just to keep in the package. They really put love into it. The weight of it even feels nice.
