Hey, does anyone know of a Dino mini line from the mid eighties. I think they came in a tub or bucket. They were soft black rubber (but not eraser soft) with some green paint here and there. About an inch long, maybe a bit bigger. There were a lot of different sculpts but just that color combination.
I had so many when I was young but lost them all. If anyone can id them it's you lot!

They resemble these guys?

Yes, the colour and way they are painted is exact, can't remember if the dinos had red eyes. Could well have done though.

Okay, so what are the alien guys then lol?! They have to be made by the same people.
I found this picture on ebay, I'm sure they are the ones at the bottom.

The alien guys are American quarter machine versions of japanese ultraman figures. They chose a few sculpts that were originally done in Keshi material and reproduced them in hard plastic with half-assed yellowish paint on them.

So I would guess those dinos are from quarter machines as well, perhaps using stolen sculpts

The dinos are definitely rubber, I remember them being pretty flexible. The eBay description for the picture above backs that up. Im certain that I got all mine in one go too, in fact I can remember the supermarket they came from-Gateway's.
I may still actually have a pleisosaur somewhere, I remember him knocking around recently. This weekends mission will be to track him down and post him here.

I believe the Ultraman bootlegs, and the dinos, may have been sold in bags as party favors at one point.

I lied- I found these three. I know I have a fourth somewhere too. They are soft rubber, most of the green paint is missing. Considering the size the sculpts are good enough to recognise the dinosaur.
Why do the pictures rotate?

Try turning your phone on the opposite side to take pics. I don't know why, but pics will turn sideways if you turn your phone on the wrong side when taking them.

I have several of the exact dinosaurs you have.  I bought them from dollar stores years ago.  They are all sold in plastic bags and massively produced.  I dont think they are related to your first post.
