I have over 800 bootlegs in my collection. I went thru them the other day and picked out some of my favorites. Here are some photos for your enjoyment.
The blue figure 3rd from the right in this photo is a toilet.

When I was buying alot of large lots of kinkeshi on Yahoo japan I would always get tons of boots. Sometimes 50% of the figures in a lot would end up being bootlegs.

did you see that auction for the bootleg satancross the other day, he looked like an exogini with the clearish plastic, i forget what color it was or how much it was at, maybe 2000 yen.

Alot of those are legit Jay, not boots. Hella kewl though, just manufactured by a different company.

B, that S.C. wasn't fake, he was real. Crystal. If he only went for 2000 yen, that's a good price. Crystal usually goes for twice the price, but with the Japanese economy in the dumps, I guess alot of stuff is at great prices. DAMN I wish I still had access to Yahoo Japan.

I don't think the Satancross was a bootleg Kinnikuman, I think they were actually made in the clear plastic also. I think I remember Johnny telling me that.

You think? None of them carry the YSNT trademark. Mattel had to include the trademark on the figures they produced. Counterfeit and unlicensed products are big business in China. I bet Japan gets a lot of "made in China" products. Even Exogini are actually bootlegs. They were produced by GIG but I bet they never received the licensing to reproduce Kinnikuman figures. Why else would they have removed the trademark from them? If something isn't officially licensed its a bootleg.

There's actually alot of legit items that don't have the YSNT on them. For instance, the posed guys (green, first pic) And the planet guy w/faces are all legit, but don't have the trademanrk. Some manufacturers didn't put it on. No idea why.
