I just started collecting Boglins and I am looking for some information (such as what was produced, what they are worth now, etc...). I was looking for a website with a checklist or a price guide or something but I am not having much luck.

I did a search for old topics and saw that several of you collect them as well so I thought I would tap the well of information that is LRG!!!!

I am mainly focusing on Mini Boglins right now...the bigs ones are alittle out of my price range for the moment (although I had one years ago...and I LOVED it!!!!!!! I don't know whatever happened to him :D )

So anyway...any help is appreciated!

Thanks!!!

I loved Boglins as a kid! I remember the big ones being pricey back then so I used to pick them up 2nd hand at boot sales a year or two later - so what if bits were missing

mini Boglins I used to get in packs of 5 or 10 from a book/toy store back in the day, it was exciting like collecting MUSCLE.

I haven't been collecting these again for long so I'm no expert but I currently have about 200 of these little fellas and the price seems to be much similar to MUSCLE i.e. you can pick up some deals with figures for a few cents in large lots but some lots go high for no apparent reason!

Certain colors such as Gold, Silver, Black or glow in the dark seen to command a higher price as only certain figures came in these colors. Maybe GITD is the most sought after but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if any other colors are rarer than others as the mini-boglins were released several times I believe using different colors.

Here's probably the best check list currently on the web:

YOWIE

but it doesnt include the 'Cool Dudes' european cereal premiums that raumhafen and his Little Rubber Guys site(seriously :D ) does:

Raumhafen

Because of the various releases there is loads to this line and its obscurity makes it cheap so it's really fun to collect! :D

Thanks!! That first site is pretty much what I was looking for. I wonder why it didn't come up in any of the (numerous) searches I've done. :search:

I have seen that second site (Little Rubber Guys!!!) but it just wasn't exactly what I wanted. Its a cool site though!

it looks like I did Yowiemaggi a dis-service, there is a page on the 'Cool Dudes' tucked away in a cereal premiums section....and it includes the gold ones :ulp:

Yowie Cool Dudes

I NEED those gold figures...bad!

I have a few more items of packaging, a few purple GITD and those gold ones to go until I'm laying off these guys on eBay. There's such good prices it's hard to resist!

Good prices yes...but its the shipping that kills (esp to the U.S.) :ulp:

I wish they were readily available here too.

I just received my first boglins from Ebay yesterday. I must say that I really really like these guys. They are made of different rubber than I was expecting.

I can't wait to get more of these! (not that I really need anything more to collect but that ship has sailed)

they are really cool!!

A couple of days ago I was surprised by my girlfriend: she was cleaning her attic so she made two or three mountains of old clothes and objects to trash,
I started to look out for something interesting and I see a (near mint) box of a Boglins, he was Dwork!! :thanks:

I asked her why she had a monster-toy like that, and she replied that when she was little, Dwork was one of her beloved toy...
Well, she never liked dolls... :D

...now Dwork lies in tranquillity in my house...

Nice find...I know I had one growing up but for the life of me I don't where it went. My dad has since moved out of that house so I won't be able to stumble on it anywhere (at least not without breaking and entering :D )

I thought Boglins were bigger, puppet like things made of a kind of foam rubber... or am I thinking of something else?

Ok a few years ago I came across a site that listed all the C.U.T.I.E. figures and have been trying to find it again recently and I've been having absolutely no luck. So tonight I am browsing around on yowiemaggi.com and lo and behold there is the page about C.U.I.T.E.s that I have been looking for :o

So I guess another thank you is in order Matt! :)

I really like that one pointing a gun at his own head. How on earth did that thing pass as a kid's toy?

This forum is really good at making me want more little toys. Must resist...

i thank that is poig, i have been collecting mini boglins for quite a while, there appears to be alot of ppl buying them up on ebay at the moment and the price has gone up. i did see 5 boxes of five go the other day for 30 quid. there is a guy who is selling 2500, yes 2500! for 100 quid but he is doing collection only, i have seen it listed twice so far but no one is buying them, if i could drive i would have snapped em up!

Was an excel spreadsheet ever put together for the mini boglins checklist? I'm looking to add these into my free checklist application Toy Collector (https://itunes.apple...d919363870?mt=8) and it would be easier to pull the info from an existing spreadsheet!

Any help would be appreciated.
