Well, I don't know if I am disappointed or pleased...

I had 2 Xar tokens and 1 Seer token that I mailed to MOOSE, a photo of my boys holding them, ane a note to them explaining my misery (due to the fact NO wave 2 series 1 NO series 2 & NO arenas...).

Well, I got the tokens back, 3 special posters (2 Xar & 1 Seer) w/ the # of the figure and a whole shpeel about the rarity of finding/owning one, 4 stickers, and 3 repaint series 1 figures (Tremmor, Chain, & H-8T).

I really thought they could have been kewl enough to toss in some wave 2's or series 2's or at least answered my letter inside.

Honestly...I can see MOOSE could careless about their customers.

Of course I was just kidding! Marty's not made of money, so paying exorbitant eBay prices for even common figures is naturally a reasonable thing to avoid. It's his collecting perogative, and were I in his position, I'd most definitely try to do the same thing.

I just wouldn't do it with a Seer token in my package.

Hey guys I just discovered these in my local Walmart, picked up a few packs and got a Xar #159 (red dots). Now I'm hooked, I'm currently compiling a list of all the characters I have and would really like to trade.

My question is for GODBEAST

Should I send away my token for the free stuff or is it better to keep the little guy sealed with the token? I believe you mentioned that you got your token back right?

What precautions did you take when sending your token?

I would send it in. You will get a FREE repaint hyper series 1 wave 1 figure and your token back!

I sealed mine in a little zip lock bag to keep it waterproof, taped it shut w/ clear box tape, then mailed it in a padded envelope well taped so it wouldn't tear open.

Keep in mind, I mailed in 3 at one time so I think I insured it.

Would it be a random repaint? I suppose it would be sorta Brazen to ask for a specific character but I could always mention my favourites :-P

I think a cool repaint could be of Skwall, maybe as a Black Ninja.

They don't randomly repaint a figure...there are specific repaints they made for the UK toy fair and Australian FOP comics/mags. Specific #s that were repainted into different color schemes.

Do you think it would be too much to ask to maybe snap a photo or two of the poster's you've received?

Also, any chance you could scan the stickers you got or at least describe them?

That'd be awesome but I'd understand if you're busy. :-)
