Hello,

I just recieved the #4 Colonel Bird blue variation. I now have both the bluegreen variation & the blue variation. In the priceguide I noticed that the blue variation is listed as 4a, and the bluegreen variation is listed as 4b. However, when I was looking at my two figures the blue variation is stamped 4b, and the bluegreen variation is stamped 4a. I may be missing something here, if I am could someone explain to me what it is. Thanks,

Hey,

Correct me if I'm wrong Marty or Eaon, but I believe the a and b are to distinguish between the regular or common beast and the variant or uncommon (reletively) beast. I don't think the a/b or 1/2 has anything to do with the actual figure.

Wasn't there a thread with variants and the a/b or 1/2 compared? I will have to look for it.

See, this is what I am talking about. If I am missing something I would like for some one to fill me in. Thanks,

I'm sorry, I don't think I was very clear on that post... I was just reading it and could see how it could be confusing, (by this I am not assuming you are confused Mr.Crimson, but rather someone that is not familiar with the guide, or new to collecting.)

Let me cearify:

In the first part

I believe the a and b are to distinguish between the regular or common beast and the variant or uncommon (reletively) beast.

I am talking about the guide's a's and b's.

The second part,

I don't think the a/b or 1/2 has anything to do with the actual figure.

I was talking about the figures themselves.

I hope this is more clear, as my mind isn't quite awake yet..

Ok, but more importantly if your mind wakes up let me know how. You see I am 22 years old, and mine has yet to wake up. I am still working on it though...
