Just wondering if any one knows or has figured out which two packs are rarer and how many variants there are in both series 1 and 2.
For example I know White Leo #1 and Big Serow #2 came together, but didn't know until recently finding and buying that they also made a 2 pack with Big Serow #2 and Ferocious Tiger #3, which I think is way cooler.
I know of some of the other ones too, and from looking at beastformers.com.
But did they ever make the bat with anyone else besides the bear?
I wish they made the fox and rabbit together, that would have been sweet :)

Any input or knowledge is great, maybe we should start a list somewhere, any ideas people?

Rarity of packing assortment for most collectors is irrelevant because a) the package itself is the same, and b ) the figures inside are the same. In fact, I would say most moc collectors actually prefer the moc packs in chronological order because it makes completing a moc set faster and cheaper, without duplicate figures.

However, just for curiosity's sake, we do know the following:

All of series 1 and 2 in the United States was released in chronological packaging: 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, etc. The example of you gave of 2/3 appearing together is not totally uncommon. This seems to have happened fairly often in addition to the regular, chronological packaging assortment.

The other thing we know for certain in US packaging is that figures appeared packaged together only with other figures from that series. Series 1 and 2 were never mixed.

We also know that US packaged figures always came with the correct weapon.

Foreign figures:

I had a couple dozen Canadian carded figures at one point, so I can chime in a bit on those as well.

a) they appear to have been packaged more randomly than in the United States, often NOT in chronological order. We don't know for sure if they were all released at one point in chronological order or not.
B ) They often came with random weapons, like some Japanese boxed figures.
