Hello all,

Please have a look at the Sunshine I made during these quarantine days. It is made of wood and just under 13" tall.

I waffled back and forth a bunch on what color scheme to use. Each reference I looked at showed the sunburst pattern and hole on his chest/head to be different colors. Ultimately I went with the anime.

Thank you

Thanks for the kind words folks!

That's a good question. I meant to keep track when I started, but I quickly forgot about that. Probably around 6-8 hours, but some of that was trial-and-error - figuring out what tool or process to use.

Thank you

Thought that would have taken you a lot longer with all the detail.

Do you have a background in wood work?

Definitely good to get some projects on the go during these times.

Nice!

I like working with wood but I'm no where close to your level. A bird house is all I made 2 years ago that eventually fell apart.

Do you have a background in wood work?

Yes and no. I don't have any official background or training in woodwork per se, but I am a small-time landlord and handyman, so I do have experience and knowledge of most basic to intermediate tools and techniques.

I have been meaning to take some classes to learn more advanced stuff, or in some cases just relearn the "right" way to do things. I'm sure some of my self-taught tactics could be done better or more efficiently.

Thank you
