Hello all, long time reader first time writer.  I was wondering if anyone had any experience with fixing a broken Spinja winder.  I have a couple and they just click, click, click when you twist them without building any resistance.  I opened the tops, but couldn't figure out the problem.  Before I full on dissect (aka break) one I thought I'd check the hive mind for other experiences.

Thanks

The part of the spring that connects around the fastening pole probably broke. Get a pair of small needle nose pliers and bend a new loop to fit around it. I've done this with about 10 if these over the years.

Thanks for the tip. I guess I'll pop em open from the top. Good thing I've got a couple broken ones to practice on.
