Battle Beasts are one of my old favorites also. I used to have a lot of them but I think I got rid fo them a long time ago.

There are actually quite a number of them on ebay right now. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about them? Like are there any rare ones. There is a lot on ebay right now with a Cobra Battle Beast. I have never seen this one before. Is it a rare figure? I have also seen clear Battle Beast figures, which totally kick arse! Are these clear figures rare also? Just curious because I never really got to know the toy like I have M.U.S.C.L.E.'s.

Here's the links to the auctions that I think have rare figures. One has the Cobra and one has the clear Gator figure.

The clear figures are rare,as well as a few colour variations. THe thing is, Battle Beasts are generally expensive- I still have a ton of 'em from my childhood.

Yeah, I've noticed that Battle Beasts are pretty expensive. That's what has been keeping me from bidding on them on ebay. Why do they cost so much? I don't think I could afford to collect them along with M.U.S.C.L.E.'s!!!

Battle Beasts is about 125 figures altogether, counting all foreign releases and variations. The american releases were broken into three series up to beast #76. All of the beasts are numbered and each weapon is numbered, but the american releases did not match the weapon to the beast in some cases.

The beasts from 76 on are called Shadow Warriors in america (released for about a week and mega-rare) and Laser Beasts in Japan. The rubsign for fire-water-wood is replaced by a clear orb with the symbol in it. Some of these are so rare it's crazy. All Laser Beasts came with guns instead of melee weapons.

There were four kinds of vehicles - chariots, sleds, bases, battle chargers.

Japan had some special figures - clear carp, clear gator, Sunburst white lion.

Fun fact - Battle Beasts are part of Japanese Transformers! But that's a story for another time.

I have the first 76 beasts, the chariots, the bases, and a handful of Laser Beasts.

transformer battle beasts?

The listing says that they were incorparated into transformers. In english you can read beast formers. The back even has two decepticon points. So are they legit and actully did a combo transformers and battle beast or is it just a cleaver knock off?

Battle Beasts, or Beastformers, were on the Japanese Transformers cartoon. They were on a planet and the Transformers came to that planet and met them. Soo...Battle Beasts is a spin off of Transformers in Japan. It is the real deal.

Wish I could remember the site that had the pics from the cartoon - the beasts meeting some of the TF's.

Here you can find some in the package, do not buy from here though! Worst retailer ever!
