Hello, I was looking around on Google and when I was searching in Japanese, I found something I never seen before on the 80's figure collection.

Posted Image

This is not a custom made figure and according to internet,
Monsueir Cheeks used to be around in the 80's!
he is not a new character in Ultimate Muscle,
he was in the 80's Kinnikuman manga back then!
However even if he was part of the 80's muscle
league figures how come it was said that there is
no mini figure of him? I found this website in Japanese
that shows all of the old figures in full color, I not
sure if there are any officially full color figures of these
by the way if there was I bet they can be pretty expensive
and worth more then flesh and other solid color figures right?

There was full color figures from the newer collection called Ultimate Muscle
but I don't think he ever made it back to the new line, there was a few other
figures of him but not this kind! :D

I would like to know more about this figure of Monsueir Cheeks,
his Japanese name is Puripuri Man. (プリプリマン)

He is one of my favorite wrestlers of the Kinnikuman series
I am not sure why maybe because he reminds me of
a character from Fighting Foodons? lol.

Custom figure for sure. He had a very brief appearance in the original series, but not enough of a role to warrant a figure.

On top of that, even in Japan in the 80's, a fleshy butt head guy may be a little too controversial for a child's toy.

Yudetamago were excited to bring him back in Nisei because things had changed enough where they could actually feature a wrestler with a naked butt for a head.

I was guessing the same reason why they never made a figure of him! :(
Afraid the kids will become grossed out with a guy having a butt for a face lol,
but to be logical here I was watching a few clips of the 80's Kinnikuman anime
and I seen some blood from a fight scene so that gets a little more gross
compared to butt!

I would like to say if anyone is interested
that's if anyone knows about making a keshi gum figure
without using any paint which is toxic, I won't mind
asking a commission for Monsieur Cheeks mini figure :D

By the way was there any figure of Mr French?
He was the partner of Monsueir Cheeks in the anime
according to internet, I haven't seen the show
for years and I remember this guy back then
when Foxbox was new and he was really there at the time with
Mr French!

I have no clue why the makers even come up with
this guy in the first place possibly for the humor of it,
I still think it would be very nice to have him in my
personal collection because he really is part of the
Muscle wrestlers and should deserve a figure of his
kind to show some fan attention, this guy just reminds
me of Fighting Foodons for some reason lol.

Although, this does beg the question: Is there a market here for a Monsieur Cheeks figure on this board?

I would be, too. If I could play with it, and it was made out of good materials at a fair price, I'd probably get several.

Not every character in the Kinnikuman anime made it to a figure. Even Ultimate Muscle. Theres a bunch of cool characters never made it as well. Would had been awesome if there were more than just variants.

I made an "Original appearance" M. Cheeks for a custom contest when we had art-type contests. I sculpted the head of the 'young terryman' figure for it.

Any interest?

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.
