Shark man is a must! I could actually pass on all the rest with a strong "maybe" for Satyr.

Same.  Sun God is okay too.  I really don't know why there is another astronaut, another space mech, another samurai (kendo, etc), and another freaking knight.  And no scary/monster figure -- even on the heels of S14 (the best series ever), there should have been ONE.

I get that they are showing off a few new pieces (the mop, the net, the papoose, the fat-bottom on the queen, and I think the crutches too), but, man, I still think this might be the worst series since... ever.

Shark Man is already going for a premium.  It is going to be the clear fan favorite, easy to find by feeling the packs, and probably short-packed too (as the costume characters usually are).  Grrr.

The "Winged Battle Warrior"  reminds me of the Hawkmen from Flash Gordon.

This series is a bit of a miss for me, as I really only want the Queen, Satyr, and Winged Warrior.

You're forgetting about that aboriginal baby! I saw people going nuts about it on the LEGO Sub reddit the other day.

Edit: and the skunk is also new I believe.

It seems like this set is all about show-casing some new pieces.

I thumbed through a box today doing 'the feel test' and found 5 of the shark dude so I doubt that is one of the short packed characters. The box looked as though it had only minorly been tampered with. I was specifically looking for that one figure and new it had large pieces. In doing so I was able to identify just one queen. Her dress is one large Lego which I found a bit surprising. Thought it would be that cloth/paper material.

I also think this is hands down one of, if not the weakest series yet.
