Original Ring

but what i was wondering was , what significance do you guys place on having the original ring?
i feel it's imperative to have an original ring with it's figures to really get a feel for having a complete set.
i won mine on ebay well before i had anywhere near a complete set of fleshies.
mine was in mint condition , but my son and i do have a bit of a play with it now and then if we are real careful.
this poll should help us to get a very good idea of the rings out there.
thanx

I've still got the figures, but the ring is a bit... well, dead. The thing is trashed....
I had no idea they'd be worth anything at the time, really... And the same with the belt. I've got a belt that is just the belt and the buckle... nothing else.
It use to feature in Trampoline Wrestling a few years back...
And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

well I have about 5 rings for the WWF hasbro figureswhy would you want that many rings?
2 of them are signed by WWE/WWF wrestlers (one has 50 autographs the other has about 20)
1 is the yellow king of the ring ring
1 i made into a ECW barbwire ring
and the other was my main play ring
then the Jakks figures i have 3 diffrent rings for them
the old LJN figures i have 1 for them
The old AWA figures have an awsome ring with a cage and real red canvas i have one of those
then i have 3 WCW rings one for the figures that came out in the early 90's the other that came out in the late 90's
And another that came in a box set thing with two other figures
then i have like another 6 -7 misc. rings for bootleg, other wwf figure lines, and mexican figues maybe more i have to check
(lol remember through the 90's i was a huge wrestling figure collector)
Hey Johnny (or anybody that knows) is the MUSCLE ring you are selling in the AKIA store just a ring with two figures or is it in the box?

the poll has for once been informative and has already giving us the view that when muscleheads obtain a ring it usually takes pride of place in there collection.

I feel the same way. The figures and the ring are the only things really worth keeping in a collection.I have two mint rings: one I keep in the box so that it stays minty fresh, one that I have on display. To answer your question, I think that a ring is really important to a MUSCLE collection because it's one of the few MUSCLE accessories that was cool. I mean, the board game kinda sucked, so did the Nintendo game and the Battlin' Belt... the ring is really the only MUSCLE toy besides the MUSCLE figures themselves that I actually like. So, for me, a MUSCLE ring is very important to my collection... everything else, I don't really care about.
