As most of you oldheads know i love my rings
but what i was wondering was , what significance do you guys place on having the original ring?
i feel it's imperative to have an original ring with it's figures to really get a feel for having a complete set.
i won mine on ebay well before i had anywhere near a complete set of fleshies.
mine was in mint condition , but my son and i do have a bit of a play with it now and then if we are real careful.

this poll should help us to get a very good idea of the rings out there.

thanx

I had a ring... when I was a kid.

I've still got the figures, but the ring is a bit... well, dead. The thing is trashed....

I had no idea they'd be worth anything at the time, really... And the same with the belt. I've got a belt that is just the belt and the buckle... nothing else.

It use to feature in Trampoline Wrestling a few years back...

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

I built a ring out of cardboard, paper, string, and some weird stick things I found in my garage for my Ultimate Muscle figures. If anybody's interested in seeing it I'll take a few pics of it and post 'em.

I had one when I was I kid and my brothers and I played with so much that the little holder for the muscles broke. I would not mind finding another one sometime but it is not a huge priority,

why would you want that many rings?

well I have about 5 rings for the WWF hasbro figures
2 of them are signed by WWE/WWF wrestlers (one has 50 autographs the other has about 20)
1 is the yellow king of the ring ring
1 i made into a ECW barbwire ring
and the other was my main play ring

then the Jakks figures i have 3 diffrent rings for them

the old LJN figures i have 1 for them

The old AWA figures have an awsome ring with a cage and real red canvas i have one of those

then i have 3 WCW rings one for the figures that came out in the early 90's the other that came out in the late 90's
And another that came in a box set thing with two other figures

then i have like another 6 -7 misc. rings for bootleg, other wwf figure lines, and mexican figues maybe more i have to check

(lol remember through the 90's i was a huge wrestling figure collector):woot:

Hey Johnny (or anybody that knows) is the MUSCLE ring you are selling in the AKIA store just a ring with two figures or is it in the box?

Quite a few of us have mint condition RINGS
the poll has for once been informative and has already giving us the view that when muscleheads obtain a ring it usually takes pride of place in there collection.

I have 2 rings. Both of them have busted blue clips. So I took them apart and put the two good red clips together and have a working ring.

I have two mint rings: one I keep in the box so that it stays minty fresh, one that I have on display. To answer your question, I think that a ring is really important to a MUSCLE collection because it's one of the few MUSCLE accessories that was cool. I mean, the board game kinda sucked, so did the Nintendo game and the Battlin' Belt... the ring is really the only MUSCLE toy besides the MUSCLE figures themselves that I actually like. So, for me, a MUSCLE ring is very important to my collection... everything else, I don't really care about.

I feel the same way. The figures and the ring are the only things really worth keeping in a collection. B)
