Translucent Cyclops guy

Best Answer fkro6784 , 12 June 2017 - 01:40 PM

Bumping because I recently acquired one of these guys and can shed a bit more light on what it is! He came with a little purple ship that he fits inside, and the inside of the ship is marked "2000 General Mills" (but the outside shows "2001" which leads me to believe it was produced in 2000 but released in 2001). So it seems he was some sort of cereal premium and is supposed to be an alien, but I haven't been about to find which specific General Mills product it came with.

It's a very firm rubber.
I can slightly flex the legs and neck.

I swear I've seen this before but I can't remember on what site or if it was ever identified. If I find it I'll let you know.

It reminds me of those mad scientist companions. I don't know why, or even if that's right.

I had the exact same thought, but I did a search and couldn't find this as one of the figures from that line. Very similar style though.

I am pretty sure that I have seen this guy somewhere before as well, but can't find anything about it.
I picked him up in an ebay lot with some GB figs from the late eighties. The seller thought it was a GB companion.
The seller was from Alaska, not that it really helps.

I gotta say in all likely hood it is just a gumball machine figure. There are so many of those floating around out there undocumented, and probably never will be as it is so hard to find info on gumball machine figures. I hope you find the answer though!

That would be one mighty big gumball machine, bro.
Check out the pic of him next to the TMNT Mega-bloks fig.

Also, after a very thorough going over, I found there is a tiny 3 on the back of the left leg, but that is the only marking.
