Very nice pictures! I can't seem to take pics as clear as that of my LRG's. How do you do it?
Also That little red whale looking guy is a Digimon called submarimon....and I wants it!
The setup is very cheap just the camera isn't. 1 flexy lamp and a sheet of paper. I use a Nikon DSLR with a macro lens to snap the photos.
Which whale guy?
SPACE INVADERS!!!
And is that a Leever in there? Wow!
Leever? Pleading ignorant again.

But this is the Whale like guy I'm talking about...In fact I think he is supposed to be reminiscent of a narwhal.

Well, any particular settings you use for you camera? Is it Digital? Or are your pics scanned and cropped? I have serious plans of doing a few action figure sites that document some of my favorite barely documented toy lines, but my lack of camera skills...and html skills... kind of put dampers on that. My only camera is a cheapy Kodak EasyShare C533, and don't think I can get such quality pics out of it.

That's a whale? I always thought him to be something from Parodius. If you want him, PM me.
he's using a digital slr camera. i think nikon makes the best dslr cameras out of anyone. their price range goes from the practical for the normal everyday user to the super spending d3x which is priced around the same as a new small car. $8000!!! me wanty.
Nikon D700 with a Nikkor 60mm lens. I used my D80 with the same setup and the images came out roughly the same. The D700 is just a low-ISO monster. You can achieve roughly the same level of images with a cheaper DSLR as long as you have some nice glass on it. The 60mm macro is priced fair and is very very sharp.

I've never been the greatest fan of this type of figure (yes, I'm a heretic, burn me at the stake!) but your shots bring out the charm and character of these little guys better than any I've seen before and make me think twice. Stunning.
