Check out the rest of the pictures on the site, he has tons of "unique" monsters that he could make using molds and coloring the rubber on the same site and entire one color sets when that is impossible to actually do. Considering how easy it is to make MIMP, yeah I think they're homemade. Also, the edges and based look like they were made in a home made mold and not a cold press.

(I've been researching how to do this myself, its remarkably easy. All you need is the specific stuff (costs about $60.00 and that'll give you a ton of them), an empty bottle and the MIMP you want to replicate. You put the model in, place the bottle over it, then fill it with the stuff, then you take him out the next day and you have a mold. This sums it up:

But yeah, I am willing to bet money that these are home made.

I didn't realise it was that simple to make a mold, might give this ago and make GITD figures of my favorite MIMP. :D

All I'd say is that Thomas is known to make customs in the past but hes always stating that they are and not some kind of super rare thing. Sonrics are often rough around the edges, have extra flash or are a bit deformed so in my view they are genuine. I've got over 100 of them and its a common sight with that series:)

they can get very expensive depending on the sculpt/colour combinations especially when rival collectors get stubborn with bidding on ebay. Black figures whatever the monster tend to be expensive normally anyway.

Haha looking through thomas' pictures I see brojo is still talking the most irritating stuff ever on most of them:-D good for some light "relief" :-D

Yeah 1313 is right, the black figures and clear are the ones everyone seems to go for the most. Darryl has said a few years ago they weren't selling for a lot but demand of a few people has raised them up a lot. Sonrics of the original four colours I reckon are the least popular though, presumably because of them already being common original colours.

Wait, what? You can always ask buddy...these are genuine Sonric`s Figures...Thanks for the back-up guys!

I do cast custom figures and stuff from time to time but I always state these as customs and not as originals ;) Ohh and btw it is possible to collect full Matchbox Neon sets in 1 Color...

LMAO!

I'll get round to photographing my Sonrics collection soon but tbh i have a lot of photo requests pending so don't expect any too soon. Just keep reminding me over an over & jump through several hundred pointless hoops for me & i'll make it a priority if you're lucky enough.
Now that that i think of it, only around 1% of my collection of a spazillion figures has ever been photographed & seen by anyone else but myself. I also own a custom clear Peru Ghost made by Thomas but i keep it hidden away as such things are illegal now & i will report any MIMP custom makers to the proper authorities.

If anyone's got a problem with anything i wrote, just remember, "toys should be fun!"

The black and translucent Sonric's are really neat. I have a black one on the way to me, and am still hunting for a translucent one to add to my collection.

making a mold and casting figures is pretty easy, but mimicking a specific type of rubber is impossible. Most rubbers used in factory work is nothing like ones you can buy and mix.

plus if the figures were copies it would be easy to tell under the feet of the figures since that is where you would cut off the excess after a casting.

I can defend Leviathan's innocence because in that photograph
there are Three figures that I traded to him myself years ago.
Black Bigfoot, Hobgoblin and Karnak. They are the real deal.

Considering he is dead that would be quite a feat :) I think I know enough of the Chewbacca defense to take the case though.
