I was just curious, does anyone else here collect these Argentinian Cromy figures? personally i cant get enough of the things :D i love the red and orange shades they come in and the rarer translucent green and yellow colours are beautiful! Here are the ones i have, i know there is at least one more sculpt i need, does anyone have any more info on these great figures or even a checklist? cheers everyone!!

I have quite a bit of those! I always liked them but wasn't sure if they were legit MIMP or not.

Yeah, I've got a load of these, thought I had every sculpt but I don't recognise the two-headed dragon or the tall horned guy...

That's what I love about MIMP - you think you've seen everything and then a load more just pop out of nowhere!

Nice collection Dazz, they look a lot better in a collection like this than on their own. I've never really gone after these but i do love some of the sculpts & you've got really nice figures there.

Here's my only two, sadly the little red guy is missing the tops of his ears otherwise i'd love him, lol.

Nice couple of figures Adam :)
let me know if you ever want to get rid of the 2 headed dragon. They are cropping up on ebay quite alot now, the last few lots i got i have been the only bidder. I know somewhere i have defiantly seen pictures of someones collection with the figures all named, does anyone know what im talking about? or was it a dream haha! If i remember correctly it was someone called liquid sound or something like that.

Here's my lot:

Anyone else find that they leave a weird sticky feeling wherever they've been? And that a lot of them won't stand up without support? Minor quibbles, I still really like them. It'd be nice to put names to faces as well...

Try the monster in my pocket Yahoo group, Probably a no-go area now but they used to have the figures named, A guy called LiquidSoundDesign or something like that I dont think they were official names but rather of what the figure is. I gotta feeling its something to do with Brojo.
Also does anyone have any information on the smaller, harder standard argentine cromy monster in my pocket sculpts, I do believe trumanshower had a vampiress, I have 3 but does anyone else have any?

I think I miss 1 or 2 from this set. A real checklist would be surprising.

Not the vintage figs but here are the rereleases:

And a video of a guy unboxing a complete box of these:

Bumping this thread because I've been into these figures recently and trying to compile as much info as I can on them. I did a blog post on them over at Little Weirdos:

http://www.littlewei...cromy-club.html

I have the 25 different sculpts shown below, and from all the photos I've seen from various people here, on Flickr and on eBay, I think that's all the sculpts (at least for this particular set). Anyone know of others?

I really like these guys! They're pretty fun, and great add-ons to a standard MIMP collection.

I for one like these way more than MIMP figgies, the sculpts are great. I am wondering if they are made of rubber or a hard plastic???

They are a more rubbery material, very similar to the texture of standard MIMPs.

I am bumping this for two main reasons, has anyone found more than the 25 molds listed? and have we confirmed if they are legit? They were made by Cromy so I kinda think thats a yes in my book. It also looks like the colors are orange, red, black, yellow and clear. No one has found any different colors right?

Since there seems to be no real name lists, I think its safe to call 1 a Ghoul (skeleton that walks now), 3 an Ent, 10 a Chupacabra, 14 a Greek Minotaur, 15 a two headed troll, and 17 a Basilisk. Just my guesses.

I own some green ones. I think they were released after the first wave colors, but not sure.

O.k. cool. I haven't seen any green so they maybe the rarer of the colors

Could be. The clear seem to be the most common. I have tons of them in comparison to the other colors.

Interesting. A rarer color for one line is just randomly common here. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. I think orange, black and yellow are close behind and red being a little rarer. Green seems to be rarest though.

Maybe its blacks for specific monsters? I see a bunch of people own the black ones so its a tough call. Still think we should name these bad boys lol unless someone can get their hands on an argen wrapper or a box
